What a study centre website needs
One page is rarely enough here: there are several services, and parents compare them.
- 01
A page per service
One-to-one tutoring, group tutoring and study support are different things, for different pupils. With a page each, the site explains who it is for and how it works, and can be found by someone searching for exactly that service.
- 02
A service picker for parents
A few simple questions lead to the service that fits. It is what someone at the centre would do over the phone, available at any hour.
- 03
Show the rooms
Parents want to see where their child will spend the afternoons. A photo tour of the premises, with the centre's own photographs, does more than any description.
- 04
Book a visit
The next step is to go and see it. A short form to book a visit, and the phone number and the address with a map link on every page.
- 05
Frequent questions and recruitment
The questions that keep coming in by phone get answered on one page. And if the centre is looking for tutors, a recruitment page keeps applications from getting lost in messages.
- 06
Content the centre updates itself
Articles, events and an activity gallery keep the site alive through the school year, as long as someone at the centre can update them without calling a developer.

Two study centres, in Azambuja and in Alenquer, each with several pages. They are demos built from each centre's own copy, not the centres' official websites.
